Colour has become the core of my jewellery design. The colours and effects that I created through my studies at university have elevated my 3D printed jewellery pieces to another level. My designs start off as organic wax forms made by hand, then manipulated using digital technology to produce geometric designs. These geometric designs are then further developed by use of colour. Through my degree I have managed to attain reflective surfaces so that when worn the jewellery shifts in texture — catching the light like labradorite or pearls, yet clearly existing as something new, not a gemstone imitation. For me, colour is transformative: it brings movement, energy, and emotion to the work, allowing each piece to feel alive on the body. Resin gives me the freedom to explore beyond traditional materials, making colour not just an embellishment, but the driving force of my design.
